    Scotland in May/June 2013

    Evening All!

Me and the missus have just returned from a week or three in Scotland. All holiday this time, revisiting some old haunts and some new. Thought you might like to have a look at a few snaps:

Loch Ness looking north, Culloden, Glenfinnan, On the road to the Kyle of Lochalsh, piper at Eilean Donan, Cuillin Hills, North of Dunvegan, Morar looking to Rum and Eigg, Tobermory and Duart Castle.
    Steve.

Lovely photos. The young piper at Eilean Donan castle looks to be the same one who was playing there when my wife and visited the castle in July last year. He was an excellent piper, by far the best of the busking pipers I heard during our three week tour. As I recall, he said he played with the well-known Vale of Atholl pipe band.

Super pics. I always enjoy seeing my homeland through the eyes of visitors.
Next time you must come south of the central belt and visit the rolling southern uplands, the Solway coast and the many castles and tower houses which tell their tale of border warfare.

Really nice Steve, I particularly like the one of Glenfinnan, one of my all time favourite locations.

Great pictures. Thanks for posting. I particularly like the young piper and the castle.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
