    Not a record price, but...

The Anthony George Maxtone Graham of Cultoquhey cased highland dress set of dirk, sgian dubh, sporran, waist belt, plaid brooch and kilt pin, sold at Bonham’s Edinburgh auction in August. It was estimated to bring between 8,000 and 12,000 and brought GBP10,000 including the buyer's premium. Phew!

Beautiful! And it's great to see it all together as a boxed set.

Wow! Very smart kit. If I had available funds like that I would have put in for a bid as well!

Is it my imagination, or was the box made for a different sporran?
