The right tartan for a frenchman ?

Hello there, The question is in the title : what is the right tartan for me, being french. For historical reason, I think the "Royal Stuart" and the "Jacobbite" could be right. Your opinion ? Other choice (and why)...

I am sorry but I don't know what Region of France you come from, but perhaps there is a French Regional tartan that you could choose? I know that Normandy and Brittany have their own tartans. Just a thought.

Good idea, thanks, I live in the Loire Valley, but my father faily come from Britanny... My idea about the Royal Stuart was to recall the help of the french troops to Bonnie Prince Charlie at Culloden.
