Owned one for a dozen years. Love it. Spray it with "Scotchguard" (ironic, eh?) just before winter starts.

Have not seen that one yet, but it looks fun! I love my Tilley, and wear it nearly year round. As a surveyor and construction inspector I am constantly out in the sun and the heat, and my Tilley really helps. I even wore one out to the point it was getting holes in it around the headband. I contacted Tilley, and sent in (I believe) $10 for return postage and mailed them my worn out hat and they sent me a brand new one of the same design and size. They even offered to send my old one back also if I wanted it. Tilleys might not be cheap, but they are well made, and they really stand behind their guarantee.

Sorry mate, I didn't notice they were only available in the UK. Seems a bit harsh considering they are a Canadian company.

Maybe Panache should search for a local retailer that carries Tilley and order directly through them.

The tweed winter hat also comes with an adjustable headband, earflaps, and a forehead flap. I used to wear it in the winter when I was supervising the schoolyard in the country and it was the warmest one I had, plus it cut down on glare beause it was a darker colour and kept the snow and rain off my glasses. My favourite! (Can you tell?)

I also own a Tilley and find it to be the best hat I own. Quality is excellent, customer service is superb ( as Standard has so well said in post #3 ), and it is beyond comfortable. As it is said, one Tilley owner knows another......

And as Father Bill has said above, the "TW2 Tilley Winter Hat" is an excellent one for those colder months......
