    Bumper sticker?

    Question for you...
I saw a bumper sticker yesterday day that read SUPPORT YOU LOCAL KILTIA and had a picture of a fellow playing bag pipes. Any idea if this is pertaining to a specific group or is it just a cool sticker? Just curious, I had never seen it before.

How about an "x-marks-the-spot "Support Your Local Kilt" bumper sticker?

Well maybe it is time I made a confession. I saw the X Marks the Scot idea somewhere and borrowed it for my websites name. I guess I never really knew how big this was going to become. Nelson might be the only one here who knows these guys, but a group called Clan MacBubba actually had the idea before me. Their website is www.caberdancer.com. They have a license plate and shirt available for those interested... I am going to talk to them soon about this community as they have no idea it exists but maybe we can get them to sponsor a shirt that says www.xmarksthescot.com on it.

    We will see...

Now I know where knotwork came from. LOL It is interesting to note really how things in the world of celtdom intertwine, and in the case on this forum the intertwining of kiltdom.

Know them? I'm a card caring member of Clan MCBUBBA.
Member number 92 I thought that might have been some of the influence for the name.
I actually saw a couple of folks wearing a different
xmarks the scot shirt at the Grandfather Games in 2001. A long time before they came out
with their tag. So I not sure "MCBUBBA" did not
    borrow it from them.

    Hank you might want to
see if you could pick up some business or work out
something with them to help their MCBUBBA site.
The haven't updated that part of their site in about
    2 years.

There's some really nice graphic work on that site. I really like the association between the flag, I love the logo, looks really great!!.

Will you ask if it can be used? I guess we're only talking about the name anyway, there's surely no copyright on the Scottish flag.

What about adding "www" as a prefix to the name (would that change it enough not to be a breach of copyright?)

I'd buy a T shirt with that logo on.
