A Haunted Scottish Castle
A tourist was up in the ruins of Castle Girnigoe late one evening when he sensed a "presence." Turning, he saw a spectre, but for some reason was unafraid and spoke to it asking why there had been no proof of ghostly visitors. The ghost answered that if the tourist wished, he could certainly take his picture, and the gentleman took out his camera to do so.
Sadly, the battery in the flash was as dead as the spectre, and no picture could be taken. You see, the spirit was willing, but the flash was weak.
