I am wondering if this Kilt Kit bag will auctuallly hold 3 kilts along with jacket, shirts and the like or is it just 3 hang up garments?

    Thanks

I keep my kilt in a suit bag, on 2 wooden 'skirt' hangers. I keep my PC jacket and waistcoat in another suit bag on a wooden suit hanger I already had (from back in the dark ages when I wore 3-piece suits to work). The suit bags and wooden 'skirt' hangers were fairly inexpensive (bought at Walmart). That Kilt Kit bag is pretty pricey. I don't know.

I own one and I love it. It is pricey but that's because of its quality. The value is there. If it helps any the depth is 5 inches. So stack up what you'd want to put in it and see if it's less than five inches. Course the middle can bulge too.

I can assure you that this is a top quality product that you won't have to worry about coming apart. I think the most I've had in mine is 4 wool kilts on hangers. I use their hangers on all my wool and leather kilts. Don't see using cheap hangers on expensive kilts. Makes no sense.

Understand some folks may not be able to afford it, but for those that can they'll get their money's worth and more. Should last as long as the kilts.

Since I travel to hotels a lot I like that my name is embroidered on there too. Hasn't been lost at a bell station yet.

Found this old pic where I had three wool kilts and a Prince Charlie in the Kilt Kit...still room.

That is what I was looking for Riverkilt, when to host a tent at the games I carry at least 2 kilts a Argyll Jackes and Vest, then a couple shirts.

looks like this may be the ticket for me

I agree with Ron. I have one carry a kilt, my wife's kilted skirt and my Argyle jacket and vest, along with all of the accessories. If you mention you are a convener, he will likely donate something back to your clan society too. Mr. Austin is a good guy (but then you would expect that from a Keith).

Thanks Allen, I have used a regular garmet bag and it broke the zipper I think because the hangers are to wide. the bag was over 15 years old though so I got my moneys worth out of it
