Why should you keep it? Because it is a horse-hair sporran. If you sell it now, you will regret it and only want to buy another with in a couple of years.

It is indeed a lovely sporran- however looking at the scale of the badge on the front and the scale of the pocket on the rear I'd be inclined to think that it's a child's sporran.
Is the overall length somewhere right around 13"/33cm?

Yes there's something about the proportions of the cantle that suggest a child or youth sporran.
If an adult sporran the cantle should be at least 6 inches wide, the standard, though you'll see old ones with wider cantles too.
Narrower than 6 inches and it was probably intended as a youth sporran.
Here's what it looks like when an adult wears a youth sporran

Hello, and thank you for all the responses. I believe it is a child's sporran as the length is just over 11 inches and the width is around 7 inches. Does it make it more valuable because it is a horse hair sporran?

Horsehair is generally more expensive than a plain leather sporran, but this type and size of youth sporran frequently pops up on ebay and usually doesn't end up going for all that much money.
Still, it's a lovely piece. I'd keep it about for your sons (if you have them) or young relatives to wear.

Hello, and thank you. I was asking for $150 for it, and believe I have a buyer at that price. Is that a fair price?

Do you mean the hair is 7 inches wide? What is the width of the cantle? That would tell us.
I'm guessing it's a "youth" rather than an adult or child.
About value, child and youth size sporrans, jackets, and kilts go for far less on Ebay than adult-size things do.
