My Second kilt just arrived !! :) ID Please

Got woke up 8am this morning by the posty knocking at the door . It was my latest kilt Yipee

I have no idea what the tartan is neither did the lady I got it from it was her grandfathers kilt.

Its darker then in the pics it looks faded in most picks but its not . It's black and dark green with cream stripes and some very light yellow stripes in the back ground.

I have no idea how old it is but its got some age witch is what I like. Its heavy as well coming in at 1.9 KG

Again its to big for me but its simpler to make small then make big I finger its been adjusted to make it bigger as well I can see the strap for the waste has been moved and the 2 buckles have all so been moved .

The strap I can just move back so iit will fit me and it will just have more wrap around and the buckles I can all so move and just turn over the corner. Having said that I still haven't done this to my first one.

Any way this sis it so can any one id for me .

There are no maker tags in it but there is this patch in it, the 41 - 42 will me the waist as there are 2 slots in this kilt my other one only has 1. Its a little bigger then this as well as its been adjusted my other one is a 42 and this feels bigger so im not sure I will be able to use it until its adjusted as I can the other.
The 25 I think is the drop as its 24 now and looks like its been turned up.
The other ID marks on this tag I have no idea about

Nice kilt. It may have been a hire kilt at one point. It's been well taken care of and looks really good. I like that tartan.

Isn't pride of Scotland a purple tartan this is very dark black and dark green

Can it be Hunting as well and isn't it normalcy a clan name then hunting . not Hunting pride of Scotland ? Im confused and that's nothing unusual .

Pride of Scotland in the hunting colours seems right to me. Google told me so.

As to Hunting Pride of Scotland vs. Pride of Scotland Hunting:
You will see both versions and even after a long thread on this forum we couldn't agree which version is correct

searched that name my self and I found it as Hunting pride of Scotland . strange as all others are hunting after the name like Maclaren Hunting and so on . But I guess with this one its different as all references were Hunting first on this one . So know I know . It does say Pride on the hanger loops but I have only seen Pride of Scotland kilts in the purple so never gave it a second thought.

I cut the strap and buckles of today and took it to my mums for a fitting. I Put it on and pined them in place and when I got back from Bowls with my 11 year old son "who kicked buy he way 32 to 9 In his game" It was all finished and fitted a treat . so now I have this I can unpick the other one and get that done now.

We had to turn over the apron part with the strap about 4" to get it to fit . I was going to cut it and fold it over so I could make some flashes out of the excess but I think ill just wate until I come across some second hand ones in black
