Good Scottish things in our library

This month our local library has a display in the entry with books about Scotland and a sign reminding us of what happened 700 years ago this month.

We are lucky to have a librarian from the Dundee area of Scotland and my guess is that she put this together.

In addition to a lot of books about Scotland, our library has the book, Outlander, as well as the audiobook on a set of
28 cds. Of course I borrowed it, and it's been a treat to listen to the story everyday while I'm sewing. I'm pretty impressed with the voice/voices and accents of the reader, Davina Porter.

That's really nice to see. I've always liked to look at the displays in libraries with the books associated. Just seeing that picture makes me want to go check out a book. Thanks for sharing.
