Central Kentucky Highland Games

As mentioned in the Columbus, IN Games thread, this coming weekend - Sep 20, 10 A to 7P EDT - is the Central Kentucky Highland Games in Eminence, KY. Look for the guys wearing dandelions! (Our XMarks plant badge). (I'm not allowed 'cause it's non-uniform for the pipe band).

I'll be there on Saturday with the Louisville Pipe Band. This weekend is a MWPBA contest. There will be four bands, 2 in grade 5 and 2 in grade 4.

We are ready for the games will be heading out shortly, we have picked up a few strays on our way taking them to their first events.

OK Hawk, here are my pics. Only 6 from this morning. Intended to take more but didn't have time.
The band shelters were just outside the main gate. It was a place for the bands to tune up, hang out, and be away from the crowds as needed.

Second place: Kentucky United Pipes & Drums (Lexington, KY)
First Place: Fountain Trust Pipe Band (Covington, IN) - Also Best Drum corps and Best midsection
