Can we now please have the "Political" no-talk-about statement removed
Steve, can we please have the heading warning removed from preceding this forums, now that the "event" is decided? Thank you. We'd like to return to a less cluttered heading.

As it seems that some here still want to hash over this topic I think I shall leave the notice for just a few more days.

I propose Monday for the removal of the "heading warning". It is reminiscent of the Pharmaceutical ads in that, "It will cure you if it doesn't kill you in the process."

I would say that some form of warning is good as it helps focus the mind and, as we have been properly warned, nobody can get upset if one of their posts are deleted for violating this rule. Things haven't calmed down just because the votes have been totalled. For example, there were loyalists giving Nazi salutes in Glasgow's George Square last night. This is still very much the issue of the day for many of us.

Um. Yeah. Let's be careful that this thread about removing the warning doesn't become one of the threads that's removed... in accordance with the warning, thus making the point.

The residents of Scotland have had their say. There is, surely, nothing useful left for others on this kilt website to say on that particular subject.

[Jock Scot edited his post above to clarify something which made my post a bit superfluous.]

I agree with Jock, but 'useful' is often not the purpose of posts. It's better to have it up there for a good while longer.

If anything it has all now kicked off on the ground. British people are actually taking about the future of the UK.
The heading might be better if altered to reflect the situation now the referendum is past.
Personally I can't see that any discussion of the rights and wrongs of the decision already made is helpful - now there will be the fallout but that is all politics.
