No idea. Why don't you contact them and ask?

Well met our new friend. I too looked up (within the evil-net) and found the Australian Police pipers band. The pipers here will tell you (as I've read) that a band will usually go with a traditional kilt (wool) that fits their needs. However, a synthetic material used (if it fits the budget of the band) could be used as long as it is uniform to the group without distraction to the music and presentation. They should not be adverse to getting a call, post or email from you with an inquiry about the material of their kilts. Welcome from Oxford, MS.
