auction tonight
I am attending an auction tonight that a few kilts for sale . I'm not sure if the picture will work but can anyone ID the tartan . Its kinda hard to see
It's really hard to speak with much authority when they are that far away, especially the blue/green one. I will leave someone else to comment on the red/green tartan, but here are some possibilities for the blue/green.
I wear Lamont, which has simple white stripe over a black watch background - it could be Lamont, although the set size seems a little small.
Forbes is very similar to Lamont except with the addition of two tracing stripes on either side of the white.
IT could also be McKenzie and I am just not picking up the red stripe on the blue background.
LEt is know how you fair, Adam. It looks like an interesting sale, and the highland stuff looks particularly interesting.

Auction
Last time i went to an auction at this place ( small town country auction house ) i got a brand new RCAF wool tank for 30 bucks . I'm bringing a fist full of cash and hoping the deals are the same .
RCAF. A good tartan to wear on Sunday 20 Sep. National commemorative event for 75th of the Battle of Britain (and always observed the 3rd Sunday in Sep)

Auction
I sold the RCAF to a guy in the Air force stationed in Ottawa that has always wanted a kilt and couldn't afford one . I have no connections to the military and would not have felt right wearing it
live for god and you shall have life
