    Queen Mary Scot Fest 2016

    Our pipe band participated in these Games today, as we've long done.

    I only took a couple pics.

    Here's the solo drumming in the morning, the drummer and piper both from our band (the Long Beach Pipe Band).

    good shots. I do enjoy that the bands being close to the athletic field so I can hear them as I shoot the games.

    I will say that the same doesn't always hold true for the band side of things. Last year, I had to ask the announcers multiple times to turn the speakers so they wouldn't be pointing towards the band area or audience trying to watch the bands.

    It was a little better this year, though.
