If the Nor Cal Rabble have no plans for a Burns dinner this coming January, I would like to invite you for an adventure to "The Biggest little city in the world". The Nevada Society of Scottish Clans 36th annual Burns Dinner January 28, 2017. The Dinner and Whisky tasting are held at the Grand Sierra Resort from 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 P.m. follow the link www.nvssc.org/burnscelebration for more information. Usually the Grand Sierra Resort www.grandsierraresort.com will have special room rates for those attending. This would be a grand time to travel AMTRAK through the Sierra Nevada's and relax and enjoy the beautiful snow covered mountains.
