ForresterModern moves to Texas. San Antonio area kilties here I come
I have started a new job as section Chief of Pediatric Radiology in the department of Radiology at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center -- San Antonio effective yesterday. We are relocating from the Louisville, KY, area after 8.5 years in Goshen. And Wife, The Boy and I are in fragmented mid-relocation to our new house in San Antonio on which we close purchase in 8 more days. I am sorry for the secrecy and my general absence here over the last few months but due to some unfair restrictions placed upon me by my former employer I could not be openly public with my/our intents until after all was set in motion and completed. I am pleased to be back in the realm of clinical and academic pediatric radiology practice, and happy to find such a good position is such a great place as San Antonio, Texas.
Now I am ready to settle into the San Antonio area and hopefully meet up with any local kilties once we settle in. All my kilts and kit are packed snugly in wardrobe boxes and other packing for at least a couple more weeks, after which I may be ready to break out locally.
Any San Antonio area kilties around?

I don't get down to SA too often, but we'll probably be at the games next spring. Welcome to Texas.

Wow! Here I though the practice of medicine was about healing the sick and helping people. This sounds draconian. This is disturbing.
Off my soap box! Enjoy your new home, San Antonio is where I went to bootcamp.

There is a training center down there that has popped up on the radar for my job, if I'm in the area I would love to meet up for a couple kilted pints...

I'm not in your area (living on the other side of the world!), but congratulations on your appointment.
