As per usual, there will be a gathering at the Celtic Tavern in Old Town Conyers Friday evening. Time has typically been around 5:30 or 6:00.
As Jim noted in another thread, he is committed elsewhere. That leaves hosting to Lamar Britt (Ferguson Britt Sporrans) and myself, though we
two should probably have been committed years ago. All are welcome, both local and out of town. Feel free to bring spouses and/or short folk,
the tavern is a family friendly restaurant. Those in from out of town will need a car or a ride, though it is less than 20 miles from the park, or, in
Atlanta terms, in the neighborhood. Tavern is located at 918 Commercial Street, Conyers, GA. Numbers have varied year to year, but it's always
nice to meet and put faces to user names. Some are present every year, even from out of town or state, so jump in.

Jim has said he chose to start early to allow time for food, beverage, and swapping of whatever lies and half-truths anyone feels compelled to foist
off on unsuspecting and congenial companions all to happen by fairly early (9 or 10) and still get everyone home in time to get an early start
Saturday morning; or conversely out on the highways and byways for some unforgettable though unmentionable rabble rousing, carousing and
cattle reiving.

I will be attending the weekend. I will not be able to attend the Friday evening gathering at the Celtic Tavern due to a prior engagement with my clan chief Robin Malcolm.

Remember the only things Friday are at the hotel. Lectures. Then the evening reception is pretty formal, and, I believe, by invitation. At the
mountain we'll still be finishing setup; events and vendors are not until Saturday.

We will, however, be happy to see you at the Celtic Tavern Friday evening.
