Scots Day Out Bendigo Victoria Australia

Are any X Markers attending Scots Day out on Sat 3rd March ‘18?

Let me know if you’d like to catch up?

Perhaps after the parade at the GLECA area? Approx 11-11.30am

    Hope to see you there!

    Now what to wear?

I would have the same issue if I had your stable of kilts. Enjoy the time for my sake.

Hee, Hee, My problem is two fold
    - heat
    - covering the ugly knee brace.

I’m lending my friend my Military Black Watch as he’s a new member of GLECA and that’s what they wear. (Can’t figure out posting pics so I haven’t been able to ask questions about that one)

I have adapted a long hostess kilt to look rather funky but soooo hot to wear, not great on a summers day
I’m thinking..... I may raid the stash and make a tartan summer dress of PV or cotton/blend.... I’m feeling a ‘50’s vibe coming on!!

Dinnae worry yerself over the knee brace. Take a look at the picture at the very top of every XMark page.

How have I never noticed that?
Unfortunately mine is a little more solid and ugly at the moment as I await an operation ..... however I think I may just have to decorate a walking stick to celebrate the day.
The dog may have to come along as Bendigo is about three hours from home (the way I drive) so Willie the Wonder Dog will need a suitable scarf or light jacket to attend. I just hope the silly old boy doesn’t try to boss the GLECA Wolfhounds around? For a little Jack Russell x Maltese he sure does think he’s bigger!

Would love to be there but a wee bit far to drive from Townsville North Queensland. Have a great day and a dram for me.
