Popped my cherry

This weekend we attended a fine arts festival in Evergreen, CO. I decided that this would be a good venue for my first kilted excursion! Man, why did I not start wearing kilts earlier? I wore a UTKilt grey and black tartan and had nothing but a positive experience all around! I even got to meet another kilted brother at the event. His wife is of Scottish decent and convinced him to wear one... it is a main wardrobe item now for him. I was going to wear a sporran but my wife thought it too formal. I need to pick up a good casual one.

AND, the addiction begins. I made my first sporran, thought it was too casual for an evening out. I've made three other sporrans, two sgains and the wish list keeps growing. All that before my kilt wish list is realized. I'm glad you had a good time and wish only for more to come. Cheers

LOL I hear you! It is an easy addiction! I'm ordering my 3rd kilt right now!

Welcome aboard fellow Colorado kilt brother. I wore a couple at Colorado Springs Comic Con this weekend. I wear them out and about a lot. I am glad to see you had a positive experience your first time out.
