A couple of nights ago I was able to meet a friend from the U.S. who I know from a style group. Over the years we have talked quite a bit but this was the first time we had ever met in real life. As Goran is a bit over the top and lets face it I can be as well, I decided to wear the Scottish Wildcat Tartan kilt suit.It was an amazing night that served to strengthen an already strong friendship. One thing that I think is in stark contrast here is the difference between Highland Wear and Saxon Wear. Goran is wearing basically 1 colour, while he does it with style it is monochromatic, my outfit is full of colour as Highland Tradition dictates you don't need to wear all black or all grey etc. in fact to my eye grabbing a regimental tie with your kilt, no matter the colour, and a pair of hose you like, no matter the colour, will always work to your advantage and look much better than this modern idea of everything the same shade.
