    A very special tweed

I'm pleased to share a couple of photos of my new to me tweed Argyll and waistcoat. The garments were built in 1934 by Wm Anderson & Sons and I'm very pleased with the quality. The waistcoat has some nice features including a vertical button hole for a pocket watch fob and hidden pockets behind the scallopped flaps. The vintage leather buttons are quite something to behold in person as well.

I had to have it cleaned to remove the considerable tobacco smell and have it tailored to fit me, but I'm very happy with it now. Sorry about the shadows, but trees and the sun are what they are!

    Cheers!

Absolutely fabulous. I really do love the pocket watch button hole. I had to have one put in when I had my Scottish Wildcat Tartan kilt suit. I really am looking forward to seeing it in person when all this social distancing is over. Well done.

    Nathan-

That looks fabulous. The watch chain hole is a classic touch, but everything about this ensemble is first rate.

I also really like your house!
