Utah Cache Valley Celtic Festival

Our plans are firming up in favor of attending.

Does anyone know what the morning program will be?

The schedule has piping and athletics beginning at 9:00, with Celtic Country Dances and Bad Colleen at 10:00 and 11:00. There is also a lecture about "The Welsh Origins of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir" at 10:00 followed by a cream crowde making demonstration at 11:00.

Opening ceremonies start at noon.

I'll be there, look for black Stewart tartan vest under a green ball cap with brown leather brim and "Scotland embroidered. Will be at the general store porch at end of opening ceremonies or 12:30.

I went to the festival. It was small, but there were some good things... a lecture on falconry, a lecture on Gaelic language and culture, some music, a new state record in one of the athletic events.

Clan Campbell tent was missing... a disappointment.
