My name is as you see it, when I got my personal tartan registered my name was on the register, so I didn't see any reason to have a forum nickname when I joined here.

For me, Knotty is a nick that Ive had from many years. It comes from my days as a Scout Leader. At there time there were 2 of us who did decorative & Scouting type knots. Collectively we were known as the "Knotty Guys". Since his common nickname was Chef, I got the nickname Knotty.

I usually use my real name on Internet fora, but it seemed like most people here were using screen names. In addition to a lot of other things, I'm a slacker and a drummer. I have, since joining the forum, however, always included my real name in my signature.

My came when i first started playing online MMOs about 12 years ago. It started as Corvus latin for Crow and then some idiot decided to report the name as a book title or something like that and i was forced to change names it was modified into Korvis and somewhere along the way became Korvyn. I use it for nearly all my games now and my wife says it is my alter ego lol!
