Well in line with the BBC radio programme Desert Island Discs I thought it might be interesting to see what one Scottish item you would take with you if you were stranded on a desert Island. Now it might be your favourite kilt, sporran, sgian dubh, belt buckle, bottle of single malt etc etc . . The important thing is that it can only be one item. What would you save. No fence sitting allowed. It can be an item that you covet but have not yet acquired or that signed picture of Harry Lauder. It has to be a tangible possesion no fanciful or dreamed up collections.
You are allowed one item and one item only.
To kick it off mine would be my Arctic birch handled Sgian Dubh. not only beautiful but functional as well.
