I like to get a better workout and frown a lot.

How's it go? something like "It takes seven muscles to frown, but only one to extend your arm and slap the guy that's annoying you upside the head", so keep that in mind next time someone bugs you. (Lest anyone be offended, I was not picturing hitting any member of this forum).

I think debating has its place. The problem is, if both sides are emotionally attached to their viewpoints, then things never work themselves out, it just becomes a tense stalemate or a shouting match. And since everyone's reading our posts, then saving face becomes a big issue, like when two kids about to fight are surrounded by the whole school.

A lot of the less vocal members certainly have their own opinions, and often withhold them in an attempt to preserve the peace and to avoid "drawing battle lines". Being an opinionated individual, I was a bit dissappointed the first couple times I saw a lively thread closed, but over time I've come to agree with Hank's methods (not like you need by personal vote of confidence anyways Hank, hehe). Even if I won't always agree, I see the value of the forum, and recognize it as his creation, to mold as he sees fit. I think it's kind of funny how we argue and rant about how this forum should be run, when he has a set vision in his mind of how the forum should be, and aside from explaining his rationale isn't about to compromise on his ideal.

By the way, Jimmy, I'll never complain if you send me pictures of girls in Daisy Dukes, unless the "girl" happens to be Janet Reno (I respect her too much, yeah, that's the ticket!).

Does anyone dig and pick at a wound to get it to heal? No! You try to keep it clean, and let it heal!
    Won't that work here too?
    I've survived DAMN near everything

Jimmy, did it have anything to do with the fact that Janet Reno's thighs in Daisy Dukes probably look a lot like haggis and spam? With a nice coating of cottage cheese?

Hmmm....I'm gonna be sick now too.

Ahh I feel a gentle calm come over me.... no not because of the "Reno thigh sandwich" mental picture that is forever burned into my brain. Also it's not because I am BBQing chicken in the rain and wearing sandles and socks. I feel a calm because humor has returned to begin healing all wounds.

Sorry I am getting all misty eyed....now openly weeping...someone hold me ...hold me ... HOLD ME only like another kilted soul can hold me... wait did I type that out load.... Oh great now everyone sees the mooshy gentle side of me but I don't care. I have put on enough chicken for everyone(not actually true)I will keep a light on for who ever shows up ( no light will be actually left on )

All is good in the the world I think....

    Chris
