    My kilts have never had any pilling either, Sandy. I use my fabric shaver on other items, which are not necessarily kilt related, though they can definitely be worn with a kilt. I.e. - wool jumpers, some tweed items, etc.

    Sleeves around the forearms and wrists seem to take "the beating" here too. Just shaved one of my cotton/poly western shirt's arms.
