Suggestions of Scottish Weapons Forums?

Could there be some recommendations for other Forums made specific for the discussions of Scottish Weapons? A Forums less timorous than what is tolerated here? There is to much restraint to keep a in-depth discussion happening here due to some rules that are in place. I am now certain that many will read this wrongly and shout loudly. All I ask is of links of other more Scottish Highlands Weapons related Forums.

This is a good Forum for discussions around the Kilt, not so much for Scottish Weapons.

I personally cannot see why the kilt and all forms of Scottish weapons cannot be discussed on this forum. In fact they are to a point(sorry!), as long as we keep the kilt as the main topic of conversation------we ARE a kilt forum after all------ and keep the discussion to Scottish sharp pointy things then all appears to be fine. Where the sticking point arises, is where kilts and Scottish things that go bang get combined. Yes I know! We have been down this route all too many times before , but surely there is some room for manoeuvre that can be found somewhere?

All I wish is to know other Forums exist to discuss in depth the merrits of Scottish Weapons with out the clout of the censor.

If I wish to speak of the Claymore I do not have to feel I need to write Kilt every sescond verse. This is NOT a critisism of this Forum, no!

My friend, you're getting pretty insulting here. I am no censor, but as one who's been here for a couple of years I rather like things the way they are.

I won't shout loudly, but we're hardly timorous either. Time to cool off and do some online searching if you want to find those, without what sound to me rather like cheap shots.

Of all of the fora on the Internet, this one generally has polite conversation, not angry words.

I hope you find what you want, but let's not toss words like "timorous" and "censor" into the discussion; it starts to sound as if you really don't like it here.

On the face of it Bill you are right, the choice of words used are a bit strong, but I put that down to the fact that English is probably not the first language of the author and cut him a little slack. Perhaps I am wrong to do so?

You will find that thescotsforum.com doesn't have a restriction on discussions involving Scottish weapons.

In my experience, modern day Scottish weapons comprise kitchen knives, Stanley knives, samurai swords, lengths of sharpened metal strip, bottles, glass tumblers and suchlike. In my younger days items such as cut-throat razors, bicycle chains and knives were the weapons of choice. Is this really what people want to discuss?

OK, now I'm angry.

One of our members came to his fellow members and asked for help. He asked simply for references to other forums where weapons are the topic of discussion.

Two of our members have taken this as an opportunity and used it as an excuse to interject their own feelings about the rules of this forum.

Herr Doktor made it very plain that he did not want this to become a discussion of, or over, the rules here. He was simply asking for help. After the responses he got here he has asked me to delete his membership here.

I'm sorry, but when members here drive away other members it is unacceptable.

I will be flagging two posts in this thread to our Moderators. I will be citing Rule #11 in my flags. I will also flag two posts in this thread citing Rule #2.
