Thanks for the advice all, I think I will opt for it pleated to the red... As previously mentioned it was not the kiltmaker who sent the mackenzie picture.

Had it clarified today that the McKenzie picture was sent to give me just a reference.... I have chosen to have it pleated to the red... Now the waiting game... !

Had a Kilt fitting (trying it on) earlier in the week, Looks amazing!, spoke with the Kilt Maker yesterday who is just finishing it, she said it will have to go to the "board"? and Will be ready for collection next week... So stand by for pictures!
In my excitement I never asked what she meant by the board
