I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Thank you for the welcomes, Tarheel and Mikilt! Sadly, today was not a kilted Friday for me due to reasons.
NEXT week, on the other hand!

I realized 2 things today, kilted at work:
1. that everything I was wearing was 2nd-hand, mostly from Value Village, except hose and flashes.
(Harris Tweed jacket, Viyella tattersall shirt, kilt, etc., and just found that pair of as-new, Canadian Forces, H.H.Brown parade shoes for $25.)
2. I can't pose worth beans...

I think you look great! - ready for action and comfortable in your own skin. What more could one ask?
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Right, nothing wrong with that pose. I have been hitting the thrift stores for many years, but at 6' 6," long arms, and size 16 feet, there are limits to what I can achieve. I`m jealous!

Kilted Fri in Kingston ON, home of Sir John A., 1st PM. As historic a city as one can find in Canada to pub crawl whilst kilted.

Yesterday I wore my kilt to the Phoenix Art Museum for the Andy Warhol exhibit. I dressed street-clothes casual with a short sleeve shirt (not quite a tee shirt - not quite a pullover) and boots. But, because it was an Andy Warhol, Factory themed event, my wife went full pop-art tilt and wore a platinum wig and a feather boa and rhinestone jewelry and bedazzled, fashion sunglasses.
She was a hit.
For a change, instead of folks talking to me about my kilt and asking for a photo, my wife got the lion's share of the attention. I still got a few compliments, but she had four or five people ask to take her photo and several folks raving about her outfit.
It was great to see her in the spotlight and it was a nice change of pace to be kilted without really standing out.
The exhibit was very nice, too.

Wearing the Royal Regiment kilt with my new tartan waistcoat and going for a MacLeay inspired look. Bonnet is on from coming to work and for the photo... it is off now as I do not wear hats indoor usually.
