    who makes these kilts

I have seen this label on many kilts on eBay. Any idea about this company? Quality of kilt? Many thanks.
“The Kilt” and “The Kilt Company”
Can’t seem to download an image. A rectangular label with green patterned border and green writing.
Sorry my IT skills aren’t very good. ;-)
    Many thanks.

Sorry, I don’t think it’s the same company.

Can they have “stolen” the name?

It might be The Scotland Kilt Company, https://www.thescotlandkiltcompany.co.uk you think of.

However, I know for sure that the shown label "The Kilt" is used by Heritage of Scotland https://heritageofscotland.com for their ready made imported kilts. I have two of their kilts with this label on them.

This green and yellow or green and white label or tag is an almost dead give-away that the product was made in Pakistan of Pakistani fabric. Although it may be labeled as Poly-Viscose or PV it is almost always an Acrylic or Acrylic blend fabric. On this tag the fabric is listed as 100% Acrylic Wool.

Long time members of X Marks may remember the controversy around the company "Heritage of Scotland". While the owners are born and raised in Scotland and the companies under their "Gold Bros." umbrella are 100% Scottish, the products they sell often have no "country of origin" or location of manufacture anywhere.
The top tag I show says "Authentic Woven Tartan". It also says "Designed in Scotland". Long time members may remember the law suit over the Copyright protected "Isle of Skye" design when a similar design with the same name was woven in Pakistan and sold world-wide. In the end the name was simply changed to "Bright Skye".

That explains why The Scotland Kilt Company is selling kilts in the Heritage of Scotland tartan, registered by Heritage of Scotland.com. It's in the family.
