This is wear sportkilt comes in. I've been toying with that idea myself and figure on leaving the bike shorts on under the kilt. The sportkilt is too light to wear on a campus but the shorts would preserve the modesty. Oh, I was going to get a t-shirt made up: Thank you for not walking in bicycle shorts.
