UK television, the 51st state
For those in the UK who may be interested, The film, 'The 51st State' is showing on channel 4 tonight (7/1/06) at 22.10.
This is the film in which Samuel L. Jackson wears a kilt for most of, if not all the film. I haven't seen the film before so can't comment as to it's quality, other than that it features a kilt-wearing man of course, and that will do for me!

Quite a good film with a nice dose of humor.
As for the Bad Mother F***** in a kilt ? Well why not ?

For those who have not seen this film, I will say that it has lots of drug reference due to the fact it is about illegal drug makers, lots of cussing, and plenty of violence. If that offends you, do not waste your time watching it.
On the other hand, if you have no problems with that kind of thing, I thought it was a pretty ok movie. I would not have paid to see it in the theater, but if it comes on tv for free, it is not bad.

Thanks for that review David.
I can put up with the drugs, swearing (cussing) and violence as long as no harm comes to the kilt!

There is a cute scene near the beginning aboard the airplane that deals with the "curiosity" of what's under the kilt.;-)

The movie isn't that good, which is to bad, their are good people in it. The only reason to watch it is that Sam Jackson looks awesome in a cilt.

What can I say? I absolutely loved the movie... But I'm a freak anyway And the actors really made the movie, I admit that. But I think the effects were stylish and made with good taste. The plot was somewhat fine and the ending scene after the ending credits was just awesomely hilarious! ![Very Happy](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
And I don't think the movie has any more drugs, violence or swearing than any other action movie nowadays.

Does anyone know if this is the same movie that was titled Formula 51 here in the USA?
