    For all you bikers

A motorcycle club called Ulysses, a club for older men and women, came to Tasmania this week.
They are camping in a neaby town, they did a ride through the narrow main street today - nearly 3000 of them.

I've never seen so many bikes! all kinds, Harleys, Goldwings, quite a few three wheelers, you name it!

I chatted with some of the riders, not a comment about the kilt though

Sigh. Sure wish it was nice enough here to be riding my bike. Soon, hopefully! Our first official ride for the year is slated for April 23rd, the last day of my wife and my holidays. Hopefully the weather cooperates.

As for bikers commenting on your kilt...it's probably a non-issue for most of them.

I saw several bikers today and many of them were Kilted. So I agree with Al it is a non-issue.

I'm not a biker but I'd say it's a non issue also. I've been to Sturgis and Daytona several times. I saw a few kilts at both places and no one gave them a second glance.

Well, bikers are known for living outside the "norm" of society, so I would think kilts would be a perfect fit. And after being bound up in all that leather for the ride, slipping into a kilt would be a big relief.
