    Kilts in the Wind

So today, taking pics of my new white/natural Utilikilt workman's we hiked over to the edge of Glen Canyon. It was windy and there was a great updraft coming up the face of the canyon walls.

These pics were caught when the kilt apron went flying. For those of you worried about accidental wind exposure you can see that only the outer apron went flying, the underapron and the snaps protected what modesty I have left after years of wild living.

The black thing you see is the infamous J'Dez underkilt worn for hiking comfort with a new workman's still being broken in.

Point is to those who are worried about the wind, there's nothing to worry about, at least in a UK workman's. Seems the more pleated kilts would be less of a worry.

And keep in mind this was a strong updraft, not a horizontal wind. If any wind was gonna lift my kilts this one would.

In this pic, the apron is practically saluting...yet no exposure.

    Ron,

Definetly a great way to show how great Kilts are in the elements. Those pictures are great.

Sort of makes me want to change a song title to "All is great with Kilts in the Wind!"

Good example for those squimish guys!

... and you're not even wearing a sporran! Great picture and great looking kilt. Thanks for posting.

    It wraps my thighs
Better than my pants, my jeans both short & long
    In my dreams,
I stand with my brethren several million strong.

    Kilts in the wind,
All we wear are kilts in the wind.

    They say were wrong,
“A man who won’t wear pants is just a travesty”
    We know what’s true
We refuse to fall into their tyranny.

    Kilts in the wind,
All we wear are kilts in the wind.

    Just try it on
We’ll show you how to wear the kilt and plaid and fly
    Just feel the sway,
Nothing else in life could ever move this way

    Kilts in the wind,
All we wear are kilts in the wind.
    Kilts in the wind,
All we wear are kilts in the wind.
    Kilts in the wind,
All we wear are kilts in the wind
