The belt is made with snaps, so the buckle is removable.
These are heavy weight metal. They are "pewter" or "satin" silver, not polished.
Form the basis for a Kilt belt (2" belt with cut down to 1.5" around buckle).
I just picked up the Lion belt myself. I was wondering about this belt blank from Tandy Leather Factory:

I'm not sure If I could trim the leather around the buckle to fit though?
