This is also my experience and response for the most part. Occasionally it's with sarcasm, which I mostly try to ignore.

The first time I wore my homemade kilt to work I was stunned at the amount of times I got "THE QUESTION." While outside on a smoke break, one girl asked "THE QUESTION", to which I responded, "Well, if the wind picks up, I guess we'll find out."

    No response to shorts

Just wondering. It could be that when I'm wearing shorts the lady in question is distracted by the knobbly knees - spoiling the whole effect - whereas in the kilt those knees are partially obscured and she is left to feast her eyes on the shapely calf and well turned ankle

I get alot of "Nice Skirt" from ladies. I'll say in response, "It's a kilt." With out fail they'll say something like, "I know, you really look good in it." Then I'll say, "Well, you can call it anything you want." They blush, I grin and .....

    Kilt On.

    It Just Happened Again

I work late, stopped by the supermarket after work to pick up some chow.

Passed a beautiful blonde lady and her boyfriend...would guess the lady was in her early 20s, well scrubbed, wholesome look.

Did my shopping and they were in the checkout line when I walked up and they're whispering back and forth and she finally says, "I don't care I'm gonna do it." Then she turns to me, smiles, and says, "I love your kilt."

I thanked her, we chatted briefly, they were tourists from St. Helens, Oregon.

Amazing....all it takes for a beautiful, charming, attractive 20 year old blond to strike up a conversation with me - even with her boyfriend on her arm - is a kilt.

Was a USA Kilts casual Fraser if anyone is seeking the best "bait."
