Just a couple of things we got up to in Sydney for the weekend.. Meeting with the secretary of the Celtic Council of Australia, a trip to a local park dedicated to the Scots in Australia A cairn built from stones collected from each parish is Scotland If wishes were fishes... We got to march with a Pipe Band in a local town festival. On my left is the Convenor of the Celtic Council of Australia, also Pres. of the Clan Campbells and with the Scottish Australian Heritage Council. He is wearing the Australian Tartan. Inspired by Orkney last year and the Glen Innis (Aust) standning stones..yesterday I erected our own Standing Stone, Tasmanian sandstone. It's about 5 feet high.
Very cool Graham. Looks like you had a great time and I like the standing stone. Talk about getting back to your roots.
It's MIGHTY darned good to see you back here, Graham! The standing stone is cool... very cool. I like.
Welcome back. Thanks for sharing the pics! -Tim
I like the stone Graham, are you going to do any carving on it or an inscription?

What great pictures Graham . That Cairn remeinded me of a bigger one we both saw last summer I like the standing stone too. It was a pity to see the chairman of the Celtic council not kilted
