Well, I received yet another compliment today. Yesterday, I took my children to school while I was wearing my olive UK. Wore it with my new'ish, modified sport coat kilt jacket, and desert tactical boots. I thought it was a good look. I did get the usual stares, and no matter how many times the teachers and students see me in my kilt, it is a world of amazement every time. Today, one of the parents sees me in the lobby, recognizes me from yesterday, and gave me several nice compliments. I don't remember exactly what she said, but something like, "a confident man that can wear a kilt in the deepest part of Redneck nation"...or some such.

Jay - this sounds like a great outfit. Would you mind snapping a picture of it sometime and sharing it with us?
