    Man, I love this clothing.

So last night was pretty wild. On campus, there were a lot of parties and I, of course, was kilted. Everybody on campus knows me as "the guy who wears the kilt" and "the guy who plays bagpipes" . So anyways, I was standing outside some frat house, just hanging around with my usual group of friends, and I hear somebody shout "Hey! That's the guy who plays bagpipes! And he's wearing his kilt!" Suddenly, a flock of Freshmen come over and start talking to me and asking questions. I tried to be charming and they were very interested in everything. Then one of them says "My friend is an Irish dancer!" and pulls her over. Wow . Cute girl. She looked great outright, but the fact that she was an Irish dancer only made it better (I have a thing for Irish dancers [and redheads, as I suspect most of you understand] ). We instantly hit it off, trading stories about Irish and Scottish culture and encounters with inquirers.

She was nice and I'm seeing her again tonight! There's a costume party (I'm not going to wear my kilt for that, obviously) and I'm really looking forward to talking with her more.

It seems that everytime I wear my kilt, I gain a whole new appreciation for it. I love the kilt and the opportunities it provides.

That's so true. The power of the kilt is endless.

    Very cool.

I have two fraternity brothers who met coeds in a similar manner and both couples are still happily married some 40 years later.

    Something good is happening.

I'm in my mid fifties, and coeds still come up and talk to me.

In all fairness college guys do come and talk to me too.

Love it all the way around.

Well then.... you can probably appreciate the impact it has for an old coot like myself.

The kilt is great for such encounters. I had a lovely Norwegian lady dump her date to stay at the pub w/ me last week in Albuquerque. My ego certainly didn't need any help in college but at 43 the kilt is a great esteem builder. O'Neille
