    Possible tartan Run-Wilson's Unclaimed

I was looking at a number of the Wilsons of Bannockburn's unclaimed tartans and one has gotten under my skin. I like it and and thinking of getting a run made. I was wondering if there was any OTHER interest.

I would be doing it through the Scottish Tartan Museum/Matt Newsome.

Yep, that is green and purple.
    I am inspired by McMurdo's socks/hose.

If the purple was blue and the yellow stripe were light blue, that tartan would be Graham of Menteith.

Yep, Menteith was adopted from a "sister" one of Wilsons' tartans.
There are a few that are remarkably similar, as they are based upon or direct early adoptions of "stock" Wilsons patterns.

Interested in some material for a kilt?
A Newsome box pleat would look GREAT!

We could also get an ORIGINAL Wilsons pattern, NOT used in a LONG time, in ORIGINAL Wilsons COLOURS!

Weight-> I want 16 oz. Period. So, THAT is what I will get IF this happens.
Price Depends on yardage we get.
    Under 15 yards-> $65, single width- 16 oz.
15-30-> $70/yard, double width (different mill)
Over 30 yrds-> $65/yard, double width (same mill as single width-> SAME mill Matt and Barb Tewksbury use for custom kilt, VERY high quality).

THAT is why I am asking if anyone wants in-> to see possibilities on yardage "breaks." With the Isle of Skye popularity, I thought that between here and BOTK there might be enough who want over 30 yards collectively.

Under 15 yards, the price is NO different to me per yard, HOWEVER some others may like it enough to want some anyways.

I'll probably get 4 yards no matter what.
If double width, I plan to pleat one to green and one to purple.

As for timeframe . . . Not sure, depends on interest and WHO is interested. Right now, it is a "sometime, not to far away, I hope."

Seems to be little interest . . .

    May just get: http://www.martonmills.com/range/view/117

OR, just have Wilsons 160 custom run in ONLY 4 yards . . .
Talk about a UNIQUE kilt, nowadays.
