Is It Just Me, Or Is Something Up At Photobucket?
I know I'm on a dial up rig. I know I'm very rural (135 miles to the nearest city) but all my other Internet sites are working well.
When I go to Photobucket it takes about a half hour or more just to have the thing come up. It eventually comes up okay, then I can navigate around okay (sometimes).
I'm wondering if all those "busy" ads they have are needing to load first and shutting my dial up down?
Any techie wisdom appreciated.
Thanks,
Ron

I'm not having any trouble with Photobucket, either uploading or linking.

I hate to say it Ron, but I think it may be you, or rather your dial-up. I'm on high speed cable and I have no problem accessing my Album, and I just tried yours it worked fine also.

Reason I was wondering is that photobucket, when it finally comes up, comes up with a much different layout than before. Wondered if they were changing their system.
Ironic, I can get to England and my gallery there in a few seconds, but still half an hour or more for each click at photobucket. Since I am dial up it must be all the busy video adds that are having to load before I get to see my pics. But wasn't a problem until last weekend and its lingered...and only they seem affected...but they're also a very busy ad site.
Looks like I need to find another location for my album after all...dang

Ron,
it is a different layout. And I have noticed that it is a tad slower than in the past. I have cable modem, and although it's not much slower, I can tell it's definitely geared towards high speed instead of dial up.

Ron, I really can't even use Photobucket, but it does seem to be sluggish when I linked to it. I don't have dial up, it's a dsl. It makes it all even more un-usable...
