Unnamed Tartans?
i've been looking at the tartan finder on the house of tartans website and there a good few which are unnamed.
these are mostly taken from the records of Norwich company years ago.
theres one i quite like for the tartan i going to get designed for my family name, but i'd like to get it tweeked a bit for my liking.
whats the script with these?

The Scottish Tartans Museum sells a CD-ROM of James Bullman's The Unclaimed and Unamed Tartans in their gift shop (scroll down to botton of page):

What is, or is there a difference between an unnamed or unclaimed tartan and a fashion tartan?
