I learned something new just yesterday. Actually, I learned several things, but the one that ties into this thread is a response to those poor ignorami who think Kilt wearing is a form of cross dressing.

I was watching Rob Roy on Hulu (I'd been meaning to see it for years) while doing homework, and I realized that the next time someone wants to make the aforementioned claim about kilts, I can take them to the computer, go to the movie, and I will challenge them to tell me who looks more like a cross dresser: the kilted Liam Neeson, or the bifurcated (in more ways than one ) villain?

Aint that the truth. When we first met my sister in law was adamant that HER husband was never going to wear a kilt. She was fine with me wearing one, but no way was her husband going to get one.
Well now not only does he wear them (he competes in the Games with me) but she is looking to buy him some more.

I'm also the "Kilt guy" at my bar. My friends and I get together for trivia there and other teams have used kilt in their name like, "two kilts and a cup."

I had to wear pants one day and went to my pub. I had all kinds of people stopping me and asking "where's your kilt?" "why aren't you wearing your kilt?" I never knew I had become a sort'ev different normal.

I think the kilt can be a good ice breaker for women. They like asking and I like answering.
