A few days late folks,sorry..... but i feel the people who needlessly lost their lives on that tragic day should be remembered every day, and i know they are.
I will never forget that day 7 years ago,....i was making a delivery to Belfast City Airport, when the news came through that a plane had crashed...the events that unfolded left me numb, socked and saddened.
I watched the news coverage with total disbelief, and in some what of a surreal state.
God bless those poor people who lost loved ones, and those who died in the line of duty.
God bless America!!!...our thoughts are with you all.
Neil.

A couple of days late but... The events of those days will be forever etched in my mind. I was on active duty at the time in Portsmouth, Va. We got news that something was in happening in New York and we went to the lobby of the hospital and watched the events play out on the T.V. I immediatley called my wife and had her watch also. We were so worried for those folks and the others this would undoubtedly affect. The base immediately went to the tightest security level and we weren't sure what was next.
One of the most profound moments was when we woke the next day and everything was quiet. No trains, no planes, no buses, very few autos. That really drove the nail home...we are at war.
God Bless America
