MOD Kilt Labels
I thought I'd post a couple of pics of the labels from my MOD kilts. There's been several threads and posts on both MOD and WPGs so I thought someone out there would like to see how these are labeled. There may be other labels so don't take this as all defining.
This first one is on a boys kilt.
QVS - Queen Victoria school
Thomas Gordon and Sons - manufacturer
Broad Arrow on the bottom marks it as government property.
May 1968 - date of manufacture?

Any info on A & S.H.O.R & Pipers would be appreciated.

"Any info on A & S.H.O.R & Pipers would be appreciated."
Argyll & Sutherland Other Ranks & Pipers -- in American terms, it is an enlisted man's kilt for a member of the Argylls.

Todd

Yes. MUSN is a title (rank) of musician or bandsman.
