Very correct! A cool Guinness is a great Guinness. If it's too cold, you don't get the true flavor. Try an Irish Carbomb sometime....you'll love 'em!

Next time I went for a visit, regardless of the circumstances (unless a funeral or wedding) I would wear ONLY kilts the whole time I was in her presence. And drink beer, bourbon, and scotch at will until you left pished well in the dust. Then maybe leave the toilet door open when you take a leak after getting back to their house. Passive aggressive behavior gets passion aggressive in return.

All your comments were well taken. I am the kind of guy that likes to go along to get along. No matter what the problem, I try to be civil and keep the peace. I do want to go back, but only when she is away for the weekend. ForesterModern....Your comment about leaving the door open......She is used to that. Her husband does it all the time. The nest weekend that we have planned to go down to their house is the Cruise-in in May. The house will be full of car nuts and she will be pulling her hair out. I just may rent a popup camper and park it in the yard. But, She will not ever again tell me what to wear. I am a big boy now, and can wear anything I darn well please. If she can't take a joke, she can
