Were you kilted when you proposed? If so, that might have been to your advantage.

Ive seen a kilted wedding, and I've seen an Orthodox wedding, but I've never seen a kilted Orthodox wedding. If you decide to wed kilted in the Orthodox church, we must see pictures of this!

I was not kilted when I proposed. Would have been sweet though. As far as kilted at the wedding: I got a swatch of the tartan I like for the "wedding kilt" and the reply I got was "Whatever you want, dear." I wish I had a tape recorder at the time!

I think a kilted wedding in the Orthodox Church is going to be awesome. Ties in the two sides of my family.

And for those of you who have never been to a Greek Orthodox wedding, go rent My Big Fat Greek Wedding. My mom's side of the family is just like that. They even called my dad ekseno when he first married my mom (all in good fun though). Although my Papou used WD40 and not Windex to cure everything.
