Congratulations on your good experience. It just keeps getting better. Now that you have your second kilt picked out, it's time to begin thinking about the third one, the new sporrans, hose, etc.

Amen! I'm definitely hooked!!!!!!!!!!

I wore the kilt, again, last evening, to another huge party. And again, I was approached by all sorts of folks who made positive comments. All evening, all that I talked about was the kilt, Irish history, Scottish history (I teach history), etc.

The hostess, was so glad that I wore it...said I was the hit of the party. Oh yeah, babe! Next time, I gotta remember the camera!!!! One problem with all of this, I AM thinking beyond kilt number two, which has to be made yet, and I want MORE 'stuff!'

The other 'stuff' can kill you, sgian dubhs, kilt hose, garter ties, kilt pins, argyles and Prince Charlies. I spent more on each of two fur sporrans (one Thorfinn and one Ferguson Britt) than I've spent on any of my kilts (I don't yet have a made to measure kilt).

So, beware!!!
