Big snow hits the southern USA

I could not reach the top of the snow bank on my truck. I had to put the ruler up to the snow. I had 24 inches on my hood, roof and tonneau cover. took me forever to clean it off. A couple of the neighbors got together to help each other dig out. Man, I hate snow. Where is global warming when you need it? I live on a narrow street that, until about 15 years ago, was still unpaved. Houses are right on the street and there is no where to put snow. Some of it gets pushed down the street to the woods. Some gets thrown (by hand) between the houses. Some gets stacked between cars until the county comes out and moves it. Florida looks better every day.

Oh Don't Do That!
When I lived in Chelmsford, MA I waited for it to rain and I got my wish, it rained. Just long enough to saturate the snow before the temperature plunged to single digits. Then I had 4 inches of ice on my drive way. It took me 3 weeks and 5 bags of salt to get the drive clear.
